And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents;…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).
Supernatural signs and wonders are an institutionalized part of the true Church. They are the evidence of Christ’s presence with His people—demonstrating His power of salvation and active involvement with His people. (Mark 16:20).
In a sense, they are a signature of God, His seal of approval on the Church’s work of salvation (Heb. 2:3-4).
