The Treasure Hunt of Eternal Destiny: What is the True Gospel?

 By Pastor Enoch Ofori Jnr

Have you ever wondered what the true gospel of Christ is?

Transfixed by a maze of divergent teachings all attributed to one source, you would certainly wonder! But not the Author of the one true gospel, the One who is and possesses ALL TRUTH, Jesus the Messiah!

He foreknew and foretold of the rise of false teachers who will come in His Name to deceive many. That is the catch! The false teachers will formulate their own unbiblical doctrines and attribute them to Him, the Saviour!

In His mount Olivet Prophecy, He warned: Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many (Matt 24:4-5).

But more alarming, the false prophets will so polish up their act in these last days that the salvation of God’s “very elect” will be in peril.

The Anointing from God

 By Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me”

What could you possibly have in common with David, Samson, the Old Testament prophets, the apostles and even the Lord Jesus Himself? We read glowing accounts of these Bible personalities, and we wish we were like them. What set them apart from their contemporaries, and made them great achievers of all time?  It's one word--the word 'anointing'!  An anointed life makes all the difference!

In Isaiah 61, the prophet gives a prophecy of the anointed ministry of the Messiah in which He will proclaim the good news and work exploits of salvation. It's a prophecy set for fulfillment in the New Testament era, and Christ Himself applied the prophecy to Himself and His earthly ministry in Luke 4:18-19. Click here to download the full sermon

"The First-fruits of the Spirit" - Your Proof of Salvation

By Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr

(Sabbath School, 11th -18th Feb. 2012)

What is your Assurance of Salvation?

This could be the most important salvation message I have ever taught in this church. It's about your assurance of salvation in Christ. Christ is our Saviour, He has done it all. But what is the proof that you will actually be saved on His return? What personal evidence do you have?

Do you want to be assured of the "salvation to be revealed in the last time" when your perishable body will finally be redeemed? That personal evidence is to see in yourself "the first-fruits of the Spirit"; they are the proof that you will be part of the latter harvest of the Spirit, which is your bodily resurrection, transformation and ascension to heaven.  We read in Rom. 8:23: "And not only they [the whole creation in bondage v. 19-22], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body". More Tolerable than Sodom

By Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr

(Sabbath School, 5th Nov. 2011 – 28th Jan. 2012)

 Salvation, a Privilege without Equal

As believers, we have every reason to rejoice that we have been saved from “the wrath to come” (Luke 3:7; Matt. 3:7). We are among the luckiest among humanity.  On the day of God’s wrath revealed in judgment, mighty men will wail, “the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Rev. 6:17; cp Isa. 2:10-17).

On this day, while the unrepentant nations will be judged and destroyed, we will be rewarded (Rev. 11:18). But let’s take care not to ascribe glory to ourselves.  We should be thankful to God not because we were ‘smart’ enough to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ but because He qualified us to be “partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Col. 1:12. Yes, He qualified us as fit for repentance on His very own terms. Read more

Christmas, Babylon's Mark of Power

By Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr

Nimrod's Gift to the World

For all who care to know, the so-called Christian festival of Christmas has nothing Christian or holy about it. It reeks of paganism at every turn. Its earliest beginnings date back to the Babylonian Sun-worship which Nimrod and his mother Semiramis, whom he later married, instituted in ancient Babylon or Babel.
